hello
I was born in Portland, Oregon, to talented parents who appreciated art, fine craftsmanship, beautiful landscapes, and Mid-Century Modern design. It’s no surprise that I went on to graduate from the University of Oregon with a degree in Interior Architecture.
I spent 35 years working for Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects (ZGF) designing large scale commercial projects on a national and international level, many of which were published. I retired to begin a new chapter, one that offered more time for family, pickleball, golf, hiking, study groups, and enjoying the natural beauty of Bend, Oregon.
Throughout my life, I’ve been drawn to patterns, textures, shapes, and color, with a particular interest in paper goods, textiles, with a passion for giving cards. In 2021, I began drawing cards by hand and rediscovered the joy of creating. Encouraged by friends and family, I took the next step and launched a small business.
In 2023, my husband and I set out on a new adventure, relocating from our home state of Oregon to Arizona. I now work from a small studio in my home, where I create, draw, and design. My collection has grown beyond greeting cards to include art prints, luggage tags, playing cards, coasters, notebooks, Swedish dishcloths, plates, and platters.
While not everything is available on my website, you can find me at local markets and follow along on Instagram to see what’s new. I’m always exploring different techniques, creating new ideas and looking for ways to grow, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, don’t forget to send someone a card, let them know you care, and take a moment to enjoy the beauty of art.
